Dear Friends,

For over one hundred twenty years the people of St. John Lutheran Church have been determined to celebrate two gifts that God has given to them.  The first is the grace of God that has blessed the thousands of families touched by the ministry of St. John Lutheran Church and School.  The second is an opportunity to share the gift of God's great love in Jesus Christ with you and your family.

There are several things that we value highly.  First we value our personal connection to our Lord and God who supports and sustains us day after day.  Through worship, prayer and devotional opportunities our relationship with Him is strengthened and sustained.  Secondly, we value the family into which He has placed us.  We value both our spiritual family and our nuclear family.  Both find nurture and support in all areas of the life of the Church here at St. John.  Thirdly, we place a high value on education.  St. John, from earliest days, has supported a Christian Day School.  In addition a wealth of opportunities are available to families in the life of the parish for Bible study and devotion such as Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation classes, Bible study opportunities for youth and adults in large and small group settings.  Finally, we value the rich Lutheran heritage of teachings anchored in the Holy Bible.  It is in and through the Word of God that we seek truth and guidance for our daily walk with Him.
